"Nisha" is a stunning Fancy Jasper Pendant Necklace made with 8 mm beads strung on to strong nylon-coated stainless steel Tiger Tail beading thread. The necklace is finished with a Jasper point pendant, ornate 8 mm silver spacer beads, 4 mm silver plated end beads and a toggle clasp with extension chain. The necklace is 18" (46 cm) long approx.
Fancy Jasper is rich in lustre and a wide variety of shades, and its composition is similar to other forms of Jasper. It is an opaque form of Chalcedony with varying concentrations of iron oxide. Trace minerals are also present, which explains why it is so colourful.
